Are the glass shades fragile?

The frosted glass is thicker and more durable than it appears. Each shade ships individually wrapped in molded foam inside a double-wall carton. If a shade does arrive damaged, email us a photo within 48 hours and we ship a replacement at no cost.

Will the hand-blown shades match each other exactly?

No — and that is intentional. Each shade has subtle natural variations in curve, thickness, and translucency from the hand-blowing process. These variations are part of the design language and are what give the fixture its artisan character. They are siblings, not clones.

Can I use this chandelier over a kitchen island?

While designed primarily for dining rooms and living spaces, the 7-light version (17.9-inch canopy) can work beautifully over a round or square kitchen table. For linear kitchen islands, consider our Cascade Cone Pendant with its rectangle canopy option, or the Opal Glass Globe in rectangle configuration.

What if I have ceilings higher than 13 feet?

The standard cable length is 78.7 inches across all configurations, covering up to 13 feet in open spaces. For higher ceilings, we offer custom extended cable lengths — contact us at info@auroraelighting.com with your ceiling height and we will provide a quote.
