What's Not Covered

- Damage caused by external events — fire, flood, lightning, earthquake, or voltage surges
- Use in commercial or outdoor environments unless the product is specifically rated for such use
How to Make a Warranty Claim

Step 2: Document the issue.
Send us a brief description of the problem along with clear photos or a short video showing the defect. This helps us diagnose the issue quickly — most claims are resolved based on photos alone without needing to return the fixture.
Step 3: We resolve it.
Our team will assess the claim within 1–2 business days and offer one of three solutions:
- Repair: We ship a replacement component (glass shade, LED driver, mounting hardware, etc.) with instructions for a simple swap — no need to remove the entire fixture from the ceiling in most cases.
- Replacement: If the defect can't be fixed with a component swap, we ship a complete replacement fixture at no cost.
- Refund: If repair or replacement isn't feasible within a reasonable timeframe, we offer a partial or full refund based on the product's age and original purchase price.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to return the defective fixture to make a claim?
In most cases, no. We resolve the majority of warranty claims based on photos — we'll ship the replacement part or fixture to you without requiring a return. In rare cases involving a full-unit replacement, we may request the defective fixture be returned (with prepaid shipping).
What if my LED bulbs burn out?
Our LED bulbs are rated for 50,000+ hours (approximately 17 years at 8 hours per day). If a bulb fails within the warranty period under normal use, contact us — we'll evaluate whether it's a bulb issue or a driver issue. LED driver malfunctions are covered under warranty. Standard bulb replacement is not covered, but we can supply replacement E14 LED bulbs at cost.
Does the warranty transfer if I sell my home?
The warranty covers the original purchaser from auroraelighting.com and is not transferable.
I bought my fixture more than 4 years ago. Can you still help?
Yes. Even outside the warranty period, we can supply replacement parts (glass shades, cables, canopies, LED drivers, bulbs) at cost. Email us with your original order number and the part you need.
